Studio Manager & Art Instructor
Jacob has a B.A. in Illustration and Fine Art from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Jacob has a younger brother with cerebral palsy, so managing and teaching at an art studio and gallery for artists with disabilities is right at home for him. Jacob manages the gallery-studio, curates the art openings and teaches classes in basic drawing, landscape painting, abstract painting, color theory, and the principles and elements of art.
Watercolor Art Instructor
Art has played an important role in Brian’s life from the time he was a young child. Like most kids, Brian loved to draw and was influenced by Saturday morning cartoons, which can be seen in his current style of work. Upon moving to Santa Barbara and taking classes through Adult Ed, he has been making stained glass for over 30 years. Brian has also been an Art Instructor at Santa Barbara Art Works for two years, teaching watercolor class on Wednesdays.
Chris has a unique talent in the arts and teaches the process of animation and 2-D drawing in the Caricature Drawing class. From character form to facial features, and then how to create movement on a page. Many students show up to Chris’ class with enthusiasm and a strong interest to learn.
