Lynnette was born and raised in Santa Barbara and is a people person that loves spending time with others. Getting coffee, going to church, and meeting new friends are a few of her favorite things to do.

As a child, Lynnette loved to create art, but life got busy with work and she didn’t have the time.  But a few years ago, she noticed some wallpaper at her brother’s home with drawings of old houses and cars. Lynnette thought, “Wow! I would like to try to learn how to draw those," and soon realized how much she missed art.  She started taking classes at Santa Barbara Art Works and has been eager to create again. 

Due to Covid-19,  Lynnette has been grateful to have help at home from instructor, Martha Mann.  She enjoys drawing illustrations of old buildings, farms, and "Old West" scenes. Lynnette is also excited to have the opportunity to display her artwork in the gallery's upcoming virtual exhibits and hopes to be back in the studio soon.
